Meah Tze Chuan
First Violin
Meah Tze Chuan began violin studies at age 7 and attained Grade 8 (ABRSM) in violin when she was 12. Currently, she holds a Diploma in Violin Performance, awarded by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
She was a member of the Singapore Youth Orchestra and was Concert Mistress of the National Junior College String Orchestra. Ms Meah has performed with the Chamber Players, New Festival Orchestra, Singapore Lyric Opera Orchestra and The Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also performed alongside Italian crooner Patrizio Buanne and Singapore singer-songwriter Corrinne May.
Her work was recently featured in Singapore's Operation Automaton, held from 19-21 March 2009 at the Night and Day Gallery, as part of a collaborative project with Jeremy Fernando.
She enjoys making music with friends and hopes to share her love for music with more people in time to come.
